The GT2 comes directly from our motor sports department in Weissach. A perfect example of how Porsche is able to incorporate its experience from the track into a sports car suitable for everyday use on public roads. The GT2 comes standard with a lightweight sports chassis, Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB) and the power-enhanced engine, it is the most powerful and uncompromising 911 ever built.


Mounted in its time-honored place behind the rear axle, a race-proven boxer engine lies at the heart of the 911 Turbo’s aggressive, all-out assault on sports car benchmarks. The new 24-valve, 3.6-liter design, delivers unbridled performance previously reserved for the race track. Advanced cross-flow water cooling allocates a separate circuit for each cylinder and head, allowing the engine’s 477 hard-charging horses to keep their cool. Dual exhaust-driven turbochargers lend more power and punch, churning our 472 lb-ft of earth moving torque.


The 911 GT2 chassis delivers one of the most dynamic driving experiences ever featured on a production Porsche - without compromising on comfort. Race-ready handling combined with outstanding agility and safety to offer the perfect ride in all road conditions. The adjustment range of the front and rear suspension has been increased for track use.


The latest generation of remarkable brake technologies, Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB) combine a massive, cross-drilled 13-inch carbon fiber reinforced ceramic disc with high performance composite pads. The durability of the PCCB allows a brake disc to last as long as the car itself under normal driving conditions. The ceramic brake disc weighs 50% less than its cast-iron counterpart. Combined 6-piston brake calipers on the front and 4-piston brake calipers on the rear ensure maximum braking. PCCB comes standard on the GT2.


It was in the wind tunnel of Weissach where the aerodynamics of the 911 GT2 were specially developed. The aim was to find a balance between downforce and drag. As a result, the GT2 not only offers a remarkably low drag coefficient, it also generates optimum downforce on both the front and rear axles. Thus, the GT2 delivers better grip and directional stability as well as safer handling at high speed.
